Just make sure you don't over oil the filter when you go to clean/re-oil it...plays havoc on you maf

You will likely gain about 0.5-1.5hp over a clean paper air filter.

Chrs1313 did some testing a good time back. Clean stock paper flowed better than a clean properly oiled k&n.

I run paper on the street, nothing at the track.

Don't run a K&N, they flow better because the air holes are bigger, which let in more dirt and the oil ***** with your MAF if you over oil. I dropped my K&N, went back to paper and now im going to have to buy a new MAF because of the stupid oil when I bought the car.

I wouldn't say its a waste of money.. but I wouldn't expect more power out of the filter alone

HOLY ****.......I can't believe people are still buying these piece of **** K&N filters.

Why do people want to damage their engines with them....compared to a paper filter which actually keeps small dirt particles out of the engine every damn day you drive it. UN-FUGGIN-BELIEVABLE.

They gain ZERO power. All the liars at K&N do is make 10 dyno runs with their filter in there........as soon as they get one dyno run that happens to be a little more than with a paper filter in that test car....thats the bullshit dyno number they tell all the suckers out there. Do 10 dyno runs and you get 10 different outcomes.....some lower, some higher......same car.

WOW.....

.

This is exactly why you should do a search or ask questions before buying parts, not after. Otherwise you'll be asking about your new hand held tuner, and Flowmaster catback that you have on the way.
