Default clutch line issues(quick disconnect)

I own a 98 ss and rebuilt the trany. I broke the "quick disconnect" where it goes from clutch line into the slave cylinder. And apparently they don't sell that part alone, you gotta buy a whole new slave. I did find nipple piece that goes into the slave cylinder (held by that pin). Its opposing end is an AN#4 thread. I was wondering if there was some type of adapter to fit it to the factory line. I seen some adapters on Ebay that fit the thread but not sure if i cut the other end of the quick connect to bare line or if they only fit aftermarket clutch line?

I am doing something similar like this too, I'm using a tilton clutch master on my 69 camaro and am ordering some -3AN PTFE fittings to connect my clutch lines together. I let you know how it works if you don't get a response by then
