Default Motor sitting for 4 Years???

I have a LS2 that I installed in my Nova but the motor been sitting in my shop for 4 years the question is what do I need to flush out or do anything to get this motor back and running? The motor got 26000 miles on it. I going to spray nitrous soon but I was going to put like 3-4, 000 miles on it before spraying.

Thanks for the help

Wouldn't be a bad idea to do all gaskets since they've probably rotted, fill her up with fresh oil and see if she cranks

Run new oil on it, check the plugs to see if it needs new ones, new gaskets, and do some good maintenance to it. Was the motor wrapped? Or exposed to air?

I would spray some oil into the cylinders and crank it over by hand. Change the fluids and and any gaskets that seem like they are dry rotted etc. Check the plugs and just do a overall check of everything before attempting to start it.

I had the motor still in the car the whole time. Im going to spray nitrous soon. Should I put about 3,000 miles on it before spraying?

Yeah try giving it some good running time before deciding to add a power adder. Make sure its running good also.

If its been sitting that long, drain the old gas out of the car before starting her up..
