Sometimes the ones that come with them hold out pretty good. If not those, go to Oriellys and get some Fel-Pro ones. I believe they are $12.99.

yes they are good. I had them on my car. installed with no problems, ran for 2 years without issue. Still on the car actually, I just no longer own it. However, I did not care for the graphite gaskets they supplied, I re-used my stock MLS ones and had no leaks. I also used the stud kit that they come with, that was a nice convenient touch IMO. Buy em and don't look back

All depends on personal preference. A lot of guys seem to like Magnaflow. Most guys seem to hate the SLP LM w headers I love it...see what I mean...check http://ls1sounds.com/ out

I'll just say what's been said in every other thread about this. I seriously doubt eBay header dealers have a clue how much longtubes add to these particular motors. Any kind of advertised gain they have in the ad is probably just a ballpark guess, considering the lack of testing that goes into them. It's not like the manufacturers perform all the R&D that other more specialized companies do. I'd say that all of the ones listed in the $180-200 range are the exact same design and will produce nearly the same gain. For the price, they are worth the gamble IMO. A lot of people have had success with them, backed up by solid power gains. So if you want to get a set, just pick one and cross your fingers.

Personally I dont think its worth it in the long run. I mean stock LS1s really dont gain a whole lot with just headers anyways (seriously, do a baseline dyno run, then install nothing but headers and re-run it, you'll probably cry), and to go through all that trouble to install some shoddy made parts? I dunno - maybe its just me but I love my cars. Only the best goes on them now. If I cant afford to do it right with quality parts - I dont do it.

ebay headers +1 and i wouldnt go true duals. i have true duals on my car with sweet thunder mufflers dumped under the axel.. nothing sounds better.... but. i cant lower the car because of them. thats the only downfall. if i were to do it again. i would have done long tubes-cutouts-ory-catback.. i want to see what a lm set up with the resonater changed for a sweet thunder muffler

headers are the single best bolt on you can do. put some long tubes on it and youll be set for any other mod

eBay headers here do it DO IT. If you check my thread at the bottom of my sig you can see my dyno with just the headers and lid. Put Dow 327/347. No fitment problems and been on my car for 4+ years
