Or is it a personal preference between these two? Just doing the little things to keep the et going down. Right now have a slp lid and K&N filter. From what I've read seems like a worthy upgrade.

Their name is what everyone knows. The SLP cai kit was surpassed 10 years ago.

I'm pretty happy with my SLP lid. GMTTP did a lid comparision maybe 6 years ago and SLP had the best fit and hp gains. Plus since SLP modified the Firehawk and SS Camaro I think they know how to make a good lid.

Yet they didn't put their lid on them... They had Donaldson make a factory quality one for the 2002's with the SLP logo on it (blackwing). But thats kinda besides the point since he was asking about bottom breathing ram air kits.
