LS6 or Melling oil pump and LS1/LS2 timing chain from C5R or Z06.

Those are the ones Texas Speed recommends with their packages I think

It would probably be alright if the chain doesn't have a bunch of miles on it...but I'd say it is relatively cheap insurance to get the chain.

you can get a ls2 timing chain from most vendors for $ 40 .you align the gears on the cam and crank dot to dot .check out ls1howto.com . did you order new spring and harden push rods also ?

if you get something like the katech c5r chain, make sure to replace the cam and crank sprockets too. they wear out together. A chain kit will come with both sprockets included which is ideal. Im just not sure if the c5r will fit with a melling pump

Ls2 chain and a ported and polished LS6 oil pump. both bought from texas-speed.com make sure to swap out both. they are both cheap insurance that your going to be taking off for the cam swap anyways. make sure to buy a new pick-up tube o-ring to!
