Default Throttle body bypass question

I've been reading up on this mod and it seems pretty straightforward. But every write-up I've found on it warns against doing it in areas with really cold weather. Does this mean that it shouldn't be done on cars that will be DRIVEN in cold weather? My T/A gets parked for the winter, so I'm hoping I can do this mod without having to worry.

Thanks in advance for any helpful replies.

It will be fine. Disconnect the lines at the throttle body and connect the two. No worries.

there are plenty of other cars on the road that dont run coolant through the throttle body and they work fine in cold weather.

I drove my '01 Z28 and '00 SS during winters with the bypass mod. Never any issues.

One more quick question. I'm pretty sure I can pick up everything I need for this mod from the hardware store down the street, but does anyone know what the diameters of all the parts should be?
