Default Best heads for future supercharge build

Hey guys, first off I have a 98 m6 WS6 and I'm wanting to know what heads I should go with if I want to supercharge my car. I'm gonna need new internals I'm sure but I'm not very knowledgeable on pistons, lifters, push rods, or heads. I know what they do but as far as the best, I'm not sure. Any help is much appreciated.

how much boost ,or power do you plan with super charger ?check Texas Speed for short blocks ,or forged rotating assemblies .you would like a thicker head deck to handle the extra pressure of boosted .the AFR and TFS have thicker decks .you need the right chamber size to work with the pistons you use ,to create the proper compression for boosted engines .the GM 317 head has bigger chambers to create a boost friendly compression for mild builds.also take into consideration ,you head gasket thickness and cam choice for a street friendly dynamic compression ratio .you should consider using aftermarket head studs.

Send some 317's off to AI...price and quality cant be beat. You dont need 3 or 4 k dollar heads if your running boost.

This. 317s are very cheap to get and lower compression which is good for boost.

Depending on power level you can use 317's or you can get aftermarket heads.
