Front Wheel Grinding in Reverse - ABS?
My Dad drives a stockish 2002 SS, and recently noticed a grinding in the driver's front wheel when backing out of the garage with the wheel turned to full lock.
This is the only circumstance under which this happens, and it is completely repeatable.
I suspect this is an ABS issue. Is there a sensor I can replace to fix this problem?

I agree that it is probably the brake pads are approaching the end of their life. The squeal indicators on the pads will hit the rough spots on the brake rotors causing a grinding sound. This is what the squeal indicators are for, to warn you that the pads need to be changed before the rotors are damaged.
When you are cranking the wheel to full lock the pads may be shifting just enough for the tabs to hit the rotors.
Take a wheel off and look at the remaining thickness left on the front brake pads. See if they are worn down and if both the inner and outer pads are worn about the same amount.
It is not an ABS issue. Look to the simplest problem first.

Just in case you don't know what I mean by squeal indicator tab, it is a little bent piece of metal on the brake pad designed to create an awful noise when your brake pads are worn down.
Random link with picture of a brake pad showing the indicator.
