VortecMax06

So I just purchased a 2006 Silverado 1500 VortecMax obviously with the LQ9 and 4L70e and I am looking at bumping up the power a bit. 115000kms (71000miles). It has the usual CAI and TB spacer done already and there is an edge evolution chip installed. While looking up specs I saw that the similar LS2 makes 10.9:1 compression while the LQ9 is sitting at just 10:1. If I were to throw a set of LS2 heads and find an appropriate cam for it how would I go about tuning it? Because it's not as easy as just tuning a carb anymore, there's all the computer controlled electronics that worries me about keeping reliability when straying from a factory setup. Any info would help out a lot. Thanks.
