Default Guys, sorry final dumb question

Hey guys, I bought these pro form bracket relocation kit from summit and was curious would these work with truck brackets or would I need the ones for ls3/ls7's? http://www.summitracing.com/parts/pro-69520/overview/

Also, I wanna know will I get this look with my brackets?

Summit lists applications right there..it says 97-04 5.7 so it specifically is for the LS1 stuff. Now that's the listing. You may be able to make it work. Summit also shows a picture of these mounted over valve covers indicating exactly the look you will get so I'm confused where the question is coming from.

Did you try it or call the mfg? Also the description specifically mentions "Pro Form Valve Covers.." Do you have these as well?

I called proform, they said I need the ls3/ls7 brackets. They also said that the brackets only work with their valve covers. I hope they are wrong. I will find out when they get here.

Look here at the instructions:

http://www.jegs.com/InstallationInst.../778-69521.pdf

The ProForm valve covers appear to have threaded holes on the backside for those brackets. You might be able to work something out but I will confirm for you that I have seen no stock-style valve covers(GM or aftermarket) that have those holes for anything else.

Pretty sweet and probably reduce heat in the coils though. I want some!

Good luck!

The ones I had intended to use weren't stock. They were some Gm issued valve covers that were painted and said Camaro on them. I had to cancel the order because I found out to use them it would require some drilling and tapping in order to use this particular set up. I will just get pro form valve covers to simplify the whole thing, although the original ones I ordered were better looking to me.
