Default maf adapter question

i just got the 5pin to 3 pin adapter harness for the zo6 maf from pace, and it has the temp. sensor on it also, which i already have the temp sensor can i cut it off or leave it unplugged or do i have to use that now thanks

unless you wire the 2 wires from your iat sensor harness into the 5 pin harness of the new maf, you must use your old iat sensor

I say use the one in the MAF, reroute your IAT
harness to plug in. If you want to be slick you
could move the IAT wires into the MAF bundle
loom and lose the IAT loom altogether. Just
leave the IAT in the air cleaner to plug the hole.
The in-MAF one will read truer from my experience.
This can save you some heat-soak performance
degradation after sitting hot as the IAT comes
down to true a lot quicker in the main airstream
than sitting in a corner of the airbox
