Need Help With Ssra Please !!! Can I have my hood ram air & my SSRA flow together. or do I have to close off the hood one ? Thanks, DaViD |
I guess it's possible but most just stick with one or the other. If you already have the SSRA setup just stick with that. |

I'm actually debating sealing it to where the SS scoop still funnels in air from the top also. With the actual sealing I'm assuming you plug the hole at the bottom front of the air box. That then blocks air from the scoop. The problem with the scoop now is the holes on the underside-front of the hood right in front of the air box are about 1.5 inches from the air box hole. I think I might put some weather-stripping on the underside of the hood so that when it closes it will then create a seal from those scoop holes to the air box, sealing it off from outside air but still allowing the scoop to function. That way I can get air from the top and bottom. Anyone see problems with trying to do this. The one thing is that I think lining up the weatherstripping is going to be a bitch, and I wonder if I'll ever be able to get it to the right spot so that it will make a good enough seal to make it worthwhile. |
