25 here /99z28 mn6 with t-tops $89/month full coverage with $1000 deductilbe with All state. But we have 5 cars with them so we get a considerable discount. Oh, and our homeowner's insurance is with them also, so that's why my insurance is low.

Well, I'm 20, clean record. I'm paying like $170 or so a month, thanks to my dad though. They wanted over 5 grand a year if it was on my own. Don't understand how they did it with my dad though, since the car is only in my name... But I'm not complainin.

I'm 24 with a perfect record and I pay $128 a month on my 99, I was quoted $125 for a convertible (yeah that's weird that it's cheaper, my agent said it's because there are so many fewer verts out there, losses are less overall), so I would say you could definetly do better considering your age, your cost should be significantly less. I also have a discount because of all the classes I took.

Im paying $220 a month for full coverage on my Z28. Im 20 with 1 ticket (still get good driver discount) and no accidents.
I work at eastwood insurance and from what I see, $150 isnt TOO bad. As long as you have the FULL package ($500 ded, Uninsured Motorist, Towing, Rental and so on). If you or anyone else in the family has cars, I suggest you put them on the same policy as you will save money with a multi-car discount. Also, if you own a home...thats the way to go. Most homeowner policies give a BIG discount for getting Auto through them.

I paid $389 semi annually for full coverage last year w$500 deductable on my 2001 WS6. That's about $65/mo, but I have seven other cars on my policy so I get a nice multi car discount, plus I am old(mid 40's) and have been with the same company since 1984. My rate has dropped every year since I bought the car new in 2001. The car is also paid off so I think that came into play as well.

It all depends on what the coverage amounts are and the various items that you have. Do you have multi car discount? Uninsured? Rental car? Live in a high risk area? High deductible? Gap? I have all of that with a $250 deductible and pay $1300 a year. My record is clean and I am 36. The question you have to ask your self: For the $20-$30 a month I can save by reducing coverage how long would I have to stay accident free to recoup a typical $500-$1000 out of pocket expense should an accident happen? That is what that extra money is buying you.

Hmm..
I think I will do some calling around tomarrow. My comp is 100 (ded) and collision is 500(ded) with 2 cars. (fact) Farm Bureau would not insure anyone on a trans am under 25 in arkansas. I guess Farm Bureau does not like to insure trans am,s.

They recognize that the TA is a BADASS car with LOTS of power, and they don't like to insure men under 25 with that kind of performance under their overly-competitive right foot!

Im 25, clean record, 123 a month, 1000 deductable, full coverage, in Calilfornia with unitrin insurance. I drive a 98 Z28, although unitrin has it listed as Z28/SS and they tell they ain't chargeing me more for that listing. even though they are bascily saying I drive the SS.

Just turned 19 and I pay 150 a month full coverage on my 99 ss. The reason our cars cost more to cover than vettes is because more young people are able to afford camaros and trans ams and they wreck them where as (no offense) only older people are the ones i see with vettes.
