Default clutch noises

I recently (like less than a week ago) bought a 01 trans am and when I drove the car home I noticed a strange mechanical whirring noise in traffic. It mainly happens in neutral and at low RPMs accelerating in gear. I immediately took it to the mechanic and he said it sounded like a throwout bearing. I drove the car about 50 miles home but that's it, and all of it was like a grandma so I was a little mad. I asked the seller for money back to cover the cost of the repairs but he thinks I broke the car yadda yadda. My question is what is making this noise, and do you think I could have caused it driving like mother Teresa on the way home?

Flywheel is hitting the cover, someone hit it on a speed bump and bent it up into the flywheel, get it up on a lift and remove the cover and beat it out . GOOD YO GO, Car sounds strong...
