Default what transmission do i have ?

can anyone tell me by looking at the numbers if i have 4l60 or 6l80 or even 8l90 transmission. according to engines computer i have 2016 GM1500 engine. don't know what exact car it came out off. i think its 6l80e tranny , but got know how to clarify that . also is 4l60 dipstick the same as it is for 6l80? i heard hole is different size , true?? thanks in advance

That is a 6L80 transmission and as for the dipstick it is $30 on ebay, I believe they are different dipsticks between the 4L60 and 6L80 so just to be safe buy the OEM Dipstick.

thank you for the response. for curiosity reason, how do you know the difference between 6l80 vs 6l90 .
For the record, whom might need this info for future: 4l60 dipstick hole size is different than 6l80/ 6l90 trannys. So they are NOT the same

I know of some of the internal differences between the two but external differences are not much. I know there is a difference in pans but also the 6l90 is a little bigger...here is a dimension chart

Also I need to revise my previous post. After doing a little more search on the numbers of the transmission it shows the transmission being behind a 4.3L which would be a 6L80. If it was for sure in a 1500 then that would be correct. The 24270744 Number is a 6L80 part number the 4CEA designates both transmissions available I guess
