So, 1998 WS6 TransAm, the painted part of the headlights (the driver side that has PONTIAC written on it) RIPPED off when I opened up my car on the highway last night. one of the parts that get bolted on is completely cut in half, no way to repair, but i can still bolt on the side except that the back connectors are BENT and it slams into the hood and scratched the **** out of my paint trying to open it. I'm going to try to bend them back into place and reconnecting it, but if not... does anyone know the part number? it's just the top painted part of the headlight. and has anyone else had this happen? what the HELL. i am so mad right now

First time I heard of that. Crazy. Badge of honor, now your car gives you away that you were doing a buck 20 at night ;-). Haha j/k. Hope you can fix it without much prob.

On my 68 bird my first long straightaway on track my chrome windshield trim popped off, top drivers side, and was vibrating like crazy and chipped some paint on leading edge of roof.

Well its holding for now.. I have to fix all the paint damage too my hood now.

This is a first for me. But I've had t-tops fly off. First time on my A4 DD and once on my son's car.
