Its amazing how restrictive those paper filters are, I had K&N and was very happy with it. I never reoiled it just banged the dirt off periodically and when it was bad I just bought a brand new one rather than re-oil it. Good to see that filter is holding up...

FWIW, I have a plain jane Wix paper filter. Ran back to back passes at the strip, one with the Wix and one with no filter. I seen absolutely no difference in ET or MPH.

I don't care if it takes 100 horsepower I would still rather use a paper filter on a engine I care about.
