Default Where can I buy a "lightweight battery"?

Is there a website or part number? I've done tons of forum and google searches and found nothing. Either my battery or alternator are on their way out, and if the battery is bad I'd like to get a lightweight one I heard about on here.

Also, if it's the alternator, is there a kind with a lighterweight pulley? Or just one that weighs less in general? Trying to cut weight/parasitic loss where I can, if I have to replace them anyway. lol

Anyone? To be clear, this is a DD. I just want something lighter than your basic battery, but still able to crank reliably for a DD. I don't need anything featherweight for the track. Does such a thing exist?

I used an Odyssey battery for my LS1 / Miata swap. You can check to see which terminal configuration will work for your application but mine is a common battery to be used for Corvette's that are raced due to the weight savings over factory batteries.
My terminals are different than yours so my exact part number will not work for you but mine weighs about 13 pounds.
You mentioned not wanting a "racing" style battery but mine works just fine for street use.

Default LI Batteries + Alt Pulleys

Hi, I sell many batteries, many are Lithium Batteries.
I have larger Diameter ALT Pulleys, I need to know max RPM ?

I would like to call as there are many questions for a correct fit.

Not worth it for a daily driver. Keep a stock sized battery.

Why do you say that? I'm trying to cut corners anywhere I can. I need a new battery, seemed like a no brainer. Is it unreliable?

Had it for over a year
Car sat for over a month, cranked right up no problem

Small batteries are very unforgiving if you leave your lights on or anything like that. No doing anything electrical without the engine running.
