I have done plugs and wires. Various bushing? Which ones?
Shocks and springs are a noticeable difference?

Assuming the car is well taken care of . A Lighter clutch and some gear are the 2 largest improvements you'll make to that car for acceleration.

Ls6 intake with ported tb is fine for a ls1. A fast 90/102 is better. Headers of course.

Not sure how far you want to go with it but free mods are good. On these old car cleaning the intake out from years of sucking pvc would no doubt improve performance. Stock tune on a m6 car is fine for a good while.

My frost tune was the best "bolt-on" type mod I did to my car.

Well......mail order tunes are never the best.

I've been 11.9 on a stock ls1 tune m6 car. Only things changed were the deleting of egr/air pump to keep it happy. Another care in our group went 12.9@110.x with just free mods. My car webt 13.0@109 with only a gms maf and lid. They are very capable cars in good running order.

Now if you have a a4 car then a tune woukd be good. Op has a m6 car.......get it?

Something else free and easy is removing the maf screen op. Port the maf to. Smooth bellows are nice also.

Definitely true, but better than untuned and you can set-up for future mods by disabling some codes.

I did not have an EGR stock to worry about, but pitched the air system. Sure was nice to have the tune eliminate that air delete code before I did the removal, so I had no SES light.

I can read, so I saw it was M6
