Default new TB or port my stock one?

Would it worth it for me to get an aftermarket TB or should i just port out my stock one. all that is done to the car now is: TSP clear lid, K&N, smooth bellows. Headers/ TSP true duals will be my next mod, followed by either a stall, or a Cam and intake swap not sure which will come first.

Do the converter immediately. It will give you much more gain and much more fun feel than the other planned mods.

your stock T-body is just fine for now. Port it yourself and do the throttle body stop mod to make sure your blade is horizontal when open 100%. You can probably search the net or this site for directions on that. When it comes time to do the cam, you might consider a nicely ported one from Jantzer or Bauer (sponsors here).

Do the stall 'verter asap.

As for the ported TB, send it to Bauer. He'll make that sucker look awesome for a great price!

if i were to buy a ported TB would i still have to do the Throttle Body Bump Stop Mod? I'm thinking of getting one from Bauer, can't beat the price.

Put that TC at the top of your list. You will thank us all.

like everyone said, do the converter first but as far as the TB, port it urself. we did my friends and its a good project. it takes a few hours to do it real well but id rather spend half a day porting my own TB then spend $100+ on one.

If you got 1000+ dollars do the cam and valvetrain install.... if not... do the quick easy and cheap janzter TB. Goodluck and happy modding.

doing the stall was #1 on my list untill one of my cats went out. now i figure if im going to get new exhaust nows the time, since i plan on removing the cats anyway. i guess i'll do the stall as soon as i can after that. what do you think about the 3,600 VIG a buddy has a used one with 400-500miles on it (stepped up to the 4,400 after only a month). he said its mine for 500$, Good Deal?

i don't know what the hell mooley is thinking, but definitely do the 'verter first. had an a4 before, it needs the stall more then you may know. i'm thinkin about TSP's true dual system, it sounded wicked as f#ck on hugger's 427. if you do go that route let us all know how it sounds.

Get a Baur or Janzer Tb, and the stall should be first on an auto.
