Default Oil cooling lines delete?

Safe to delete oil cooling lines on my 6.0? It'll be used as a daily driver only.

Probably if you aren't doing any heavy towing and such. Why do you want to delete the lines?

Because the clip came undone and gushed oil out. Plus it's an ls1 swap project so deleting the lines cleans up the engine bay. Now I'll tap into the delete plate for an oil pressure fuel safety switch and possibly a mechanical oil pressure gauge.

I would add cooling long before i would delete the lines,, but if I was going to do it I'd put a oil temp gauge in ,, anything over 190 is starting to affect oiling..
The amount of heat is proportional to engine demand, it would suck to toast the motor.. Oil dispatches a significant percentage of the engine heat..

YMMV and good luck..
