Default Cheap E-Bay turbo headers

Has anyone used the E-Bay turbo headers just for headers? I see no need to purchase expensive headers just to route the exhaust. I have no issues with space. Using them in the down and back position in the back seat of a Corvair. Also can they be ceramic coated as they are Stainless Steel?

Lots of people use them. No major reported issues.

There's no point in coating stainless headers. Coating is for rust prevention, not performance.

Default Thanks

Thanks for the info. I thought that the ceramic coating was more for heat retention.

So you can bolt these on like you would normal headers, facing the rear without issues?
