Default Total newbie* I want 600+ hp I'm looking at the 5.3ls or 4.8 ls

My goal is to do a budget build I see these motors that have lots of miles on them around where I live 180,xxx
Goal 650+Hp street/possible strip/ Junk yard build/Turbo/cam/springs/rod bolts/head studs/injectors
((I'm thinking about ))putting this in a mustang like the 05 model but first need to know what engine would be the best option for this budget build what will hold up handle the HP and LAST YEARS I have never rebuilt a HP engine so I'm pretty new.. I have just purchased and built an engine crane and engine stand just trying to put all the pieces together before I spend my money ive been reading alot and watching YouTube videos but... I want your opinions
Thank you

4.8 will need more revs to make 5.3 power but both will have no problem making those numbers bone stock.

Read other people’s build threads. Cheap/fast/reliable. Pick two.
