Melling Oil Pump 295 or 10295?
So I have a 98 Camaro and I believe that my oil pump is starting to fail. On cold starts, the oil pressure will read low and you can hear a noise that sounds like a fan belt squealing but when the oil pressure rises this noise goes away. Also when highway driving it will read a little bit above 20psi.
Anyways so I've been looking at Melling oil pumps and cannot decide between the 295 or the 10295. The 295 I know is for standard volume and standard pressure and the 10295 is for 10% more pressure and standard volume. My car is fairly stock besides a full exhaust and tune but maybe sometime down the road I might plan on putting a cam in the car. Should I go with the 295 or the 10295?

I fitted the 10295 pump to my 98 about 3 years ago as pressure was around 30 at 2000 revs with idle around 20. With new pump it sits steady at just under 50 psi at same revs, with idle about 30 when hot. If thinking about a cam it may be an idea to do this at same time as pump as you are almost there anyway,
