Security labels??

Security labels?? 
Does anyone else have the security labels on their trans am mine is a 01 and I notice I have them on the doors and hood what are they for???

That is not from GM.
Might have been some sort of dealer-sold security tagging feature placed on major body components to discourage theft for parts, but it's not standard labeling from the factory.
