Little chopper cam by cam motion vs street heat 1
I have an LS6 with stock 243 heads and tick performance street heat 1 cam.
I never learn my lesson when it comes to building stuff and I enjoy paying for things over and over.
I scored another set of 799 heads and sent them off to TEA for their stage 2.
The heads came back to me and I ended up buying the cam motion little chopper cam to swap out the street heat 1 cam.
Well I'm having second thoughts on the cam swap. I havent been able to find any dyno numbers of many reviews on the cam in general. I'm wondering if its even worth changing over when I throw the ported heads onto it. I never drove the street heat cam just started it up then decided to rip it apart again.
Any advice or opinions are welcome.
Built 4l60 with 3000 stall
ford 9 inch 3:70 gears
LTH
FAST 92
Tick Performance Street Heat Stage 1 V2 Camshaft for LS1 & LS6 Engines
225/228 | .615”/.595” | LSA112+3
Little Chopper Hotrod LS Camshaft(222/232-108+3)

I would probably go a different route. That Little Chopper cam has a lot of overlap (11 degrees). I'm sure it will do exactly what is says. I just know that's not for me.
The Street Heat cam only has 2.5 degrees of overlap. It should have better street manners. That's more in line with my personal preferences. It's also kinda close to the cam I chose. Either cam will have a lopey idle. Of those two cams, I would go with the Street Heat Stage 1.
