Do you have like a guess/estimate of how much it might run me to add about 150-200 HP to a 345 HP ls1 engine?

Cylinder heads: Stock 243, 799 or 317's $300-$600 range. Getting them CNC ported and having them outfitted with some stainless steel valves will set you back another $1500 so your about 2G into a set of heads.
Intake manifold: LS6 intake $200-$300 or go for a FAST 92 with 92MM throttle body for $1200 or find it used for less
Cam, springs, lifters, pushrods and some rocker arm trunnions for the stock rocker arms will be in the $700-$1000 range and if go with some aftermarket aluminum roller rockers add anywhere from $700-$1300
1 7/8" long tubes: $600-$1200 for decent ones or you can buy some cheap ones $200-$400

So as you can see it adds up real quick and you haven't even been into the bottom end of the engine or accounted for the labor involved for the installation. You may have to upgrade your fuel system too and of course the cost for getting it tuned. Is this a manual or an automatic?

"Best" and "cheapest" are often mutually exclusive. So what is the priority? Most power for the least money, or best durability/longevity with the most possible power for a given budget?

I'll confess to not really understanding the pursuit of hp numbers, as it's an abstraction. More importantly, what do you want to do with the car? Where do you expect to apply all that power? Dragstrip? Road race? On the street?

Making big power is one thing, getting it to the ground effectively is another. Your drivetrain, suspension, and tires will need substantial upgrades to be up to the task. And what you do in those respects is dependent on your goals for the USE of the car.

This big time. No sense in adding a ton of HP only to shred the rest of the car

Nitrous best bang for the buck. And more power than any heads cam kit. Also easier and less work to do no major engine tear down. 100 shot wet kit pretty safe even 150 shot pretty safe.

https://www.summitracing.com/search/...e/top-end-kits

500-hp top end kit from Trick Flow, if you want to one-stop shop.

Thanks,
Scott
