Dumb Engine Build Question

Dumb Engine Build Question
I have never built an engine before so this may be a very dumb question but Google is no help lol. I have a 97 LS1 that is coming back from the machine shop .010 over. I am going to be using a Trick Flow Head/Cam kit with an LS6 intake that requires 10.5:1 compression. Will the .010 bore on the block effect this? Do the two things even have anything to do with one another? (Bore size to head/cam size I mean)
Thanks for answering the first of many dumb questions I am sure!

Overboring a 97 LS1 means you need a new engine. The steel liners don't care for anything but a finish hone. The early blocks also had more issues with the liners not being 100% centered which makes them unboreable, if that's a word lol
If you have an iron LS style engine (truck 4.8/5.3/6.0) then it's a different situation entirely.

Aluminum LS1 blocks can only be taken to 3.903 was my understanding, maybe 3.905 but never have I heard of one going to 3.908.

If it was bored too much then you may very well be looking for a new engine block because to re-sleeve it will get expensive that is to say you will find a company out there to re-sleeve an LS1 block. The LS3 blocks all day but it something about the way the LS1 block was constructed makes it more difficult to do but not 100% on that.
