Default 99 Corvette LS1

Looking for a throttle body or suggestions on what to do. Idle is high sometimes but after cycling engine, idle goes back to normal. Mechanic says it sounds like a vacuum leak and would start with replacing the throttle body. Only issue is I can't find one. Suggestions? And yes it's DBW.

Maybe try to smoke test it.

I agree with trying a smoke test. If there is a leak somewhere it will detect it. You could throw a throttle body at it and nothing may change.

Mechanic is a pinecone, you don't relace a whole Throttle Body for a possible Vac leak.

These cars are DBW but they also have a TPS, I would see if that is throwing a code and try a TPS reset also.

Two Vac Lines on a C5 Corvette, both at the back of the Intake Manifold. Big one going to the Brake Booster and a tiny 1/8" plastic one with a rubber hose on it that sometimes can crack from heat.
