Any performance differences between 01 SS and 02 SS?

Both have the LS6 intake correct? I take it unless you have the upgraded 345 SLP upgrade perf. between 01 and 02 SS is identical?

I am getting close to pulling the trigger on a 01 SS. Do some of the 01s have the LS6 block and if yes, what percentage?

they are the same. i think 15% of 01 production line had the ls6 block (which in my opinion, doesnt do jack)

Yep, they are the same. The "345hp SLP" package was just the SLP dual-dual catback and the SLP airbox lid, no biggie.

I wouldn't get hung up on the LS6 block thing. Just find a nice clean car and go with it regardless if it happened to come with the LS6 block or not. It's really not going to make a difference.
