Default New to me Z28

I have had the car 1 month, driven it 4 or 5 times and have the mods below. How many others didnt wait long to rip yours apart? I am a big sports car guy with other stuff before. Chevelle, Supra, S2000 and just cant stand stuff being stock. Happy to have found a car that responds so easily. Just not happy its so much of bitch to work on as opposed to an old school chevy sb, IMO.

Damn.... I had mine for 6 months before I got a lid, CAI, and Flowmaster. A year and a half I was at the SFC's and STB. A few weeks ago I picked up my first cam (have yet to install). Hopefully I'll be picking up those drilled / slotted rotors in the handling section here soon too.

It takes a while to mod when you are a poor college student

Two weeks for the Catback,

One week later for the Lid,

Month for the LCA's

Two weeks after that for the CAI

Pro 5.0 tommorow

Welcome aboard, have fun modding!

It's certainly not a race. Some people buy **** every week. Others have to save up for months. In the end, what it boils down to is how well you take care of the car! Have fun with it!

Welcome - and yeah the bug will definately bite you.

Currently sitting in my garage are:
Yank 3500TC, CompCam, Shift Kit, Poly Transmount, B&M Transcooler, new exhaust tips, with more to come. Nothing like having a pile of goodies that aren't installed!

So wish I had a lift, a big book of how-to, and a daily driver.

Anyways, enjoy your new money pit!

I'm military so it takes a while to do stuff. I wish I was a poor college student.

Had to go to iraq for a year to save up for the bigger purchases.

Yes it takes awhile sometimes. I got car when I was in high school, about three and a half years ago, and have been modding mostly while being a poor college student. It will take me almost four years to get the cam.
The first year and a half i managed cat-back and lid.

You have a very nice list of mods for a car you havn't had very long.

This board is so cool in that you can find such great deals so cheap. I have been watching and guying from about a month before I had the car. The anticipation to put the stuff in was pretty rough. But I did all the install myself and knocked it out over basically one weekend so it was cool. Just cant wait to get my heads and clutch in it.
