Default Need Help With A Part

Not sure why, but their saying that this rear 3rd tail-light on my SS spoiler is aftermarket, does anyone else know what the hell it could be? I assumed it was OEM. *Note picture attached*

SS and convertibles got the "SS" spoiler and you might
see whether you can get the lens through SLP if GM
doesn't support it? SLP P/N 10088 looks like what to
chase.

Wow, amazing how friggin retarded shops are (It was being fixed by a shop and they forgot to replace the rear tail-lamp.). Amazingly the lady told me "My mechanics are just boggled at where this piece came from, we called chevrolet and they never had that part installed from the factory on it, its aftermarket, therefore it's not covered." After reading what Jimmy said, I decided to go look at it for myself, and sure enough it says ON THE DAMN LIGHT COVER [SLP NO. 10088] Holy hell I hate shops. *dropkicks Karen at M2*

Thanks Jimmy!

Yeah, that damn light is an SLP part. I just went through getting mine replaced. It only took 4 weeks for it to get here from SLP. Its mighty pricey too!

Mine was pretty expensive but I was able to order it through my local Chevy dealership. Now does anyone know how to snake the wiring through the spoiler up to the connection on the hatch?!?
