Default Help The NEw Newbie

Sup Guys, I just bought a 2001 T/a Automatic Yayy anyways iv been reading around but still not sure what exactly to do with my Intake&Exhaust..so far i know to stay away from SLP and i think i might wanna go with a FLP exhaust or True duals..so any advice would help with these topics and money isn't much of a problem..thanks

Well i love loud but nothing too crazy..my goal is to beat my cousin Mustang GT since hes a yr ahead of me hes got Full exhaust, Full intake, Blower, 4.10 gears, torque converter and maybe eventually atleast get into the mid 10's in the 1/4 mile

any coated long tubes(price and size very on your budget)
rumbler x true duels from tsp.
any lid, tsp makes a sweet smoked clear one.

make sure you read the jrp super faq for in depth info on these and other subjects.

So it looks like im gonna go for the TSP x pipe exhaust with Pacesetter LT, TSP lid, Ls6 intake but how about the throttle body? or the filter?

You don't need the LS6 intake. Your car already has it. The rest of the list looks good! As to the throttle body, you can port it, or buy an already ported one. filter is up to you, gains are minimal, but it won't hurt to have one. Paper filter will do just fine though.

it really depends on how much $$$ you are willing to spend, up to this point the price will be very easy to justify for the hp gains, after that you get in to bigger money,
money that is probably better spent on a cam kit, and heads.

if you want to max out the intake look into the 90mm lsx intake and tb or the ls2 intake conversion. both are gonna be pretty expencive in relation to the gains you get and are better saved to do after major mods to the internals
