20k miles per year. so a '02 with 50k-60k miles would be high.

National average for a car is 15,000 miles per year. NADA and KBB calculate that as neutral. Higher than that they start reducing the value.

thanks for the input! I have a 2000 WS6 with around 42k on it I store it most of the time..I drove the hell out of it for a while.

What do people do when they restore a vechile? If you drop a new engine, do they report the same mileage?

Yup, you keep the mileage on the car, but when you go to sell it you can say something like 100,000 on car 20,000 on the engine, something along those lines

You would say x amount of miles on the engine and then say how many on the body/car.

Total mileage being high or not is respective to the age of the car, IMO. I'd say that any non-buisness vehicle that sees more than 15K per year would be "high".
