He means rear wheel horsepower(rwhp). Which is the standard reference used on the board. Car manufacturers advertise flywheel horsepower(hp at the crank). If your car is making 310 rwhp, then your making an estimated ~378hp at the crank. Estimated 18% driveline loss.

3.73 gears will not affect how much hp you make.

Why does it matter? If you want to know go to a dyno, or you can just think more than most, less than others. Or if you just want to impress people with numbers slap a big *** 400hp sticker on it.

I'm going to guess 123rwhp @ 8300rpm and 102rwtq @ 7100rpm. It's just a guess though.

Based on what my '98 put down w/ just exhaust (311)...I'd say 325 - 330 since you've got a lid, LS6 intake, and some tuning

You guys are giving him 320-325 through an A4. He has a lid, catback, and intake(stock) will a tune boost him up that much?

320 through an auto (est. 18% loss) means he's making 390 at the crank??????

Yeah, with a lid, LS6 intake, Loudmouth and a good tune it should be around 320 rwhp. That is assuming that the person who tuned it knew what they were doing. Every car is different though, and these are all estimates. He needs to put it on a dyno.
