Default True Dual, or keep the SLP Loudmouth?!?!?

"REVISED"

OK Pacesetter Longtubes have just arrived , Summit X-pipe and 2X Dynomax Bullet mufflers soon to arrive, but my friend has true dual and they look wierd with the turndowns unless you have a 12bolt already, which i don't have !!! Should I go Pacesetter LT's, X-pipe, Dyno Bullet's, and turndowns or should I do Pacesetter LT's, Custom Y-pipe, cut out, SLP Loudmouth exhaust, w/ chrome SLP Loudmouth Tips?!?!? I'm in love with the sound and power of true dual, but I love my loudmouth look too !!! Will I be losing major or noticable hp with the LM setup Insight & feedback please fellow scholars!!!!

What makes you happy? You have the facts. TD's will give you more power but if this isn't your main priority then stay with the LM.

I would go true duals. Also, if you want to get headers later on, get rid of the SLP, because it ill be raspy, or have a borla XR1 muffler welded in it's place. Good luck!

Well, my pacesetters LT's are hear with me, I have been sleeping with them every night until I am installing it on Tuesday, but my Summit x-pipe and dynomax mufflers are on the way, and knowing Summit's shipping, they should be hear tomarrow. But Wednesday is the official day that I will need to make the big decision. I want power of course but i want style points too?!?!?

I say get the duals. I had them on my car. They sound ALOT better then a LM but if your happy with your setup now...why change?

If you want the best of both, get a y pipe with dual electric cutouts. That way you have the quiet when you want and the luod and HP also.

Not sure if you noticed but he has Loudmouth exhaust. That and headers will not be quiet.

If I were you, I would stick with the duals that you planned

go duals!!!!

You sleep with ur headers tooo!?!?!

I Love my QTP's sooo much, that I think I am going to frame a picture of them above my bed, so I can be near them at night even after they are installed!

Lol, j/k. But seriously, they are next to my bed.

GO DUALS!!!! you wont regret it, I know Im not going to. I hear a guy named Lane makes a great setup. Check out www.lanesperformance.com they come completely welded, and you can choose the mufflers. I believe I would choose Pro-Flows.

Goodluck!

The dumped duals under the car sound good, look ok, but they cause to many vibrations/rattles in the car for me.

DUALS.

I went through nearly the same thing as you a couple years ago. I was stock plus loudmouth and planned on doing a custom y-pipe with carsound cats when my jet-hots came. The guy who said he could do the y-pipe for one price changed and wanted $300. I said screw that and sold the loudmouth/returned the cats/called speed inc and made an appointment for true duals. Of course, I had to drive it around for quite awhile on open headers as I had already put them in, but that was fun. All told I couldn't be happier with the sound and performance. (occasional smells not withstanding)

Then a wicked cam.

Sleeping with your headers, LOL you've got it bad, mod fever is taking over. I shouldn't talk, I brought my silver coated Macs in to work and set them on the lunch table. Stroked them while eating.
