New Corvette Owner!!!
Yay, since I was in HS in 1996 I've always wanted a Corvette C5. I'm now 22 and I recently purchased a Silver 2000 Corvette 6sp.
I also have a 240sx which runs mid/high 11s. My goal is to get this Corvette into the 10s on street tires (drag radials). What would be the best way to do it? I'm not gonna drop down a lot of money right now, but slowly.. Supercharger? Turbo? What is the best way? I tend to like turbo but this LS1's powerband is insane. I'm used to only having power from 4800-7700rpm. This Motor has power from 1500-redline. It's nice. So maybe supercharger?
Is there anything I can do for cheap $600-800 that'll give me a bit more power for now?

Get some Kook's headers. They are a little pricey but they will stick with you all the way to the SC/Turbo. I think the 1 7/8 headers would be better for your setup. Maybe someone else can add on to what I've said.
