Default replaced the wrong o2 sensorer

well i replaced the o2 sensors in the front left and right (because of the car runnin so rich and then it all of the sudden lost a lot of power and i took it to advanced auto parts and they read it with the computer and the codes said catalyst efficiency below threshhold for bank 1 and bank 2 so i figure it meant that the first o2 sensor was bad on both cats but i guess i was wrong so should i try switch the new ones off the front and put them on the rear and put the old ones on the rear from the front. i dont think its the plugs because their pretty new tgk's.need advice. thanks guys.

o2 sensors are universal, you can swap them around with out any problems.

Slow down a little, low cat efficency CAN mean bad cats, how many miles are on your car?

There is a diagnostic flow chart to test the rear 02's to see if they or the cats are defective but since you are not locall to the ATL I cant help you with that BUT if/when it comes down to a problem with the cats, federal law requires that since 1995 all manufactures have to warranty thier cats for 8 years 80K miles.Hope this helps.

Digging up an old thread......

Will hooking them up incorrectly hurt the PCM?
