Default Tranny Maintenance

Couldnt get an answer in Auto Forum, so here goes:

So I'm going with the 3600/2.5STR fuddle racing verter... Going to get a B&M 24k cooler.. When I save up more money I'll get a temp gauge and some sticky tires for the back or something. One step at a time for us college folks

I know I will have to change tranny fluid more often with the TC, but what all kinds of maintenance differences am I looking at?

Tranny fluid change every 5k miles? 3k? How often?

I'm really excited about getting it but I want to make sure I wont have to change the fluid every 1000 miles either

Just more frequent fluid changes. Not entirely sure on the recommended interval but it's nothing rediculously often. You're REALLY going to want the sticky tires and I strongly suggest a tempt gauge asap.

Temp gauge is my first project, this TC is going to pretty much clear out my bank account so that and the tires have to wait a few weeks

If you aren't carefull you won't have any rubber out back in a few weeks.
