Z06 MAF will require programming. Ported MAF too,
but nobody knows the proper cal table for that.
The Z06 (or pop the screen off a truck MAF from
eBay for about $100 less) is at least a known
quantity as far as tuning goes.
Save your junk MAF, pop its screen, swap the ends
onto a new stocker's electronics, and see how that
does for you. That way if you don't like it, you can
go back.
Of course finding a stock LS1 MAF unmolested
around here is about like finding a virgin in a
whorehouse, but look anyway. You can always
pay retail....
