nope...you're gonna have to spend a bunch of money on it...to get it to LOOK decent...then you are going to have to spend a bunch of money on it to make it DRIVE decent...then you end up with a car that is worth 1/5th of what you put into it...

well. It looks fine the way it is. No major blemishes. *spot on the front right side fender nees painted. (but my buddy does body work and will take care of that for me.) .... It drives decent now..... How long it will is the question. But I thought bout getting it and going ahead and getting the engine rebuilt before something did go wrong. ......

keep in mind that the engine is not the only thing that is expensive that goes wrong...think of it this way...you spend 4k on a rebuilt engine...now you have 4k dollars invested into a car that *may* be worth just that...then you have to factor in the transmissino you will be needing soon probably (2-3k) it just gets ugly from there...

Holy crap, 253k?! that gives me hope on the LS1! I wouldnt get it man, it seems you want an f-bod pretty quick, but an upright trade for a 253k mile car isnt a good idea, 777 is right, after the rebuild and the tranny you could by a sub 100k lt1 car in much better condition, just wait for a better deal man

Well.. The deal is I know it need a little work. I got 2 mechanics to look over the car. Both saying "yeah do the trade" The car starts right up with no problems. The guy who is wanting to trade with me Ive known my whole life and I know he hasnt hot rodded the car. . . I have another car that is my everyday driver so the camry just really sets in my driveway and never gets drove. (if it was my only car I wouldnt even consider it. considering the pottential of things to go wrong. . . . But since i have an eclipse as my everyday driver. Im really considering it. . . Thanks for the help. I was told this was a good place to get some advice. . . . Keep letting me know what you think . . . . .
