Default Bragging a little

Nobody in my life seems to care, so I figured I'd brag alittle here! Hey if nobody cares here, where else can I go! Just installed lid, headers, ORY, and a magnaflow. Had my tranny upgraded and rebuilt, and put chrome Z06 275/35/18s all around. Getting my cam, gears, and lowering it (be done in 2 weeks). Lifes much better over a stock 99 B4C! PS: really not bragging because I know you guys have some awesome rides!
PS: Carbon Fiber hood comes next (I have a good friend whos going to build me one) Everybody thinks Im crazy.......I dont think so!

Get yourself a stall first before the headers. I just got mine done and man what a difference. No more deadspots.

The carbon fiber hoods my friend builds can be pretty snazzy unpainted. Hes going to show me some other ones he did before I decide. I want a hood different then the SS, but i want a scoop of course!

That's cool man. A lot of folks round here don't like the unpainted look. But if I had a carbon fiber hood, I would definetely clearcoat it a million times and then leave it alone. they look great, in my opinion.

Sounds like you're doing a great job. Keep on going, and get into the engine soon!! Congrats!

I agree, I think carbon fiber looks snazzy. I'll get some chrome hood pins to accent it alittle. What type of other mods are important. I really am looking for a good driver (its not a daily driver I have a 95 Impala SS for that, but a weekend warrior if you will!) It seems most of the mods on here are for racing, I just got mods for driving. What am I missing???

Not my cup of tea either, but it sounds like he is excited about it, and that's all that really matters.

Yea, I dont really get into rice, beans, or gravey! I just like unique. I don't like to copy others cars, and honestly can care less what others use on riceburners. I've always been like that! You talking to a guy that owned 9 chevy caprices, and 2 impala ss (currently drive a awesome one!) I always like different! Thats why im painting the car with orange poka dots.........just kiddin!

personally i dont like carbon fiber on anything, but if you like it thats cool

but this being different **** is annoying, my friends all want the same thing, and when one of them does it first the others get all pissy and then say they are going to do something else to be different, **** that, do what you want that makes you happy, i want a 3" steel cowl hood, the problem is finding a steel one, everyone sells fiberglass, I HATE CRACKS

if you really like the look of the carbon fiber, then have him make you replacement panals, bumper covers, 1/4 panals, door skins. ect ect ect and make the whole car CF....
(CF=light=good)

but having a hood that dont match the rest of your car..... gag.....

OK OK you guys convinced me to reconcider. Why? Only because of a group of die hard LS1 guys opionions matter. I talked to the Carbon Fiber guy, Hes going to make me a carbon fiber scoop on my pewter hood. I maybe hard headed, but I thought alot about this thread and maybe Im wrong. I love carbon myself, and want unique. But maybe a entire carbon fiber hood may not look the best.....perhaps the carbon fiber scoop would be better.........what do you think about this??

The scoop in carbon fiber might look good, there is a guy with a WS6 hood partially in carbon fiber that looks nice.

with the carbon fiber scoop...that could be pretty interesting...id have to see it to give my final call. but man thats a nice chunk of change you laid down and im happy for ya, but as stated above...get a stall...youll never realize you were in the same car. many guys see drops of .5 sec in the 1/4 after changing the stall.

Im wondering what they did when they upgraded my trans? They charged me for a torque converter and said they we're beefing everything up, wonder if they did a stall or not?
