Yeah everyone always just says theyre the same because 'an ls1 is an ls1...etc' but isnt it like the same diff. between a regular TA and a ws6 where ones rated at 305hp and the ws6 is rated at 325hp...sorry if im wrong in thinking that 20hp would make any difference.

No, the LS6 intake came in 2001. Only difference is the ram air.

Even then, there is not much power difference. And those are rated numbers, not actual numbers.

And you need to get front and back coolant lines for the LS6 intake upgrade.

Here is more information from 1998.

I REPEAT AGAIN THE 98-02 CARS ARE UNDERATED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Below is a quote from Patman. I asked him several months back about the actual HP rating of the LS1 fbody after I found a thread stating the typical dyno numbers of these cars, and this is what he said in reply:

"Back in late 97/early 98 we figured it out since so many LS1s were running quarter mile times just as quick as the Corvettes, which were rated at 345hp. At first, many of us thought that only the earliest production LS1 f-bodies were getting these stronger motors, but soon people began getting their later built cars dynoed and found they put out over 300 horsepower at the wheels, making it's power at the engine closer to 350. My old 98 Formula dynoed 288rwhp in stock trim (on a 90F day at an outdoor dyno), which works out to about 330-340hp at the engine"

Hope this provides further insight!

Take care!

Well I have a '98 T/A M6 and I was wondering how I can figure out what whether or not I might have one of those earlier production models. I had read in the "Differences of Years" thread and it had posted that some of the earlier produced models had the Vette cam in them other than dynoing how can I find out whether or not it has the cam?
