Default installed headers and ported throttle body

I wanted to say thank you to the guys at Thunder Racing and New Era Performance. I just installed the Dynatech superMaxx headers package purchased from Thunder racing and ported throttle body by New Era Performance. Car feels strong and sounds great. I learned why labor costs are what they are. First time wrenching and wanna be gearhead w/bloody nuckles and torn up arms.

Feels good when it's all done, and you did it yourself.
Regardless of the PITA factor, it's worth it when you
have the tools and the time.

Fellow, if you have $900 worth of tools, you probably have
more than I ever had in my life, and I'm 54.
Seriously though, I wouldn't put off doing the SFCs.
Excellent mod for stiffening up the frame. That and STB
were some of my first mods, and after 136K miles, I'm glad.

Be sure to get your tune checked on a dyno, mine was real rich after I put my headers on.

Funny you say that. Interestingly enough car idle was between 400 and 500 rpm's and didn't feel good when I took it out for a test drive. I ran the car at different rpm ranges (2000-5500) and 15 miles later the car just ran perfect. It idles at 900 and screems at WOT. A noticable difference. If anyone knows a tuning shop in Atlanta, GA w/dyno that works on these cars please e-mail me. I think GMMG, inc. works specifically w/ Chevy unless you buy their exhaust. I have not talked to year One or BRP yet.
