I was in that boat once, but I fear that I'll never find my way back. No Payment=Cash for Mods!

Welcome and congrats on the purchase :)

I test drove a red 2000 Eclipse GT M5 before buying my Z, they're cool little cars... just too bad they're SLOOOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWW...

I Know What You Mean, I Barely Put My Foot The Brakes On A Rainy Day After Seing On The Horizon Three Car Wreck On The Highway, And The Car Started To Slide A Little, Good Thing I Slowed Down To About 40 Milles/hr Before I Put My Foot On The Brake

it was a 1997 corolla. I've looked up times in the tens, but it got smoked by my grammas 98 corolla (same model.)

I made a big upgrade when I got my car this past winter too. The 1987 Honda Prelude with around 110HP that was handed down to me died at almost 200k miles, then I got my 2001 WS6.

Congrats bro!!! You will love it. Then the next days of your life, you'll love it even more. I'v have an ls1 for 3 years and it still puts a big smile on my face when i step on it. :chug: :drive:

TRANSAM_2000 04-23-2006 02:34 AM

I went from a 95 eclipse gst to a 2000 Trans AM M6 and i love it more power and you can show off alot better being rwd and all.

Stone0fFire 04-24-2006 05:09 PM

everyone here warned me too

but i still went sideways under a truck.

my advice to you if you are "fast and furious"

steal i mean buy a couple of orange cones

and take it to a lot.

learn how far you can push it

do that after every serious mod to be safe

these cars get out of hand quick!

oh yeah. good luck in the rain! :jest:

rino1301 04-24-2006 10:25 PM

:drive: i know what you mean . i had a 2000 eclipse gt and around sept, an f150 ran a light and did a hit and run . :punch: good thing about there where to witness that got color, model,of the truck. four to five months after i became the owner of a 2001 trans am with 50,000miles on it. no modes, not even an aftermarket filter and up to now i've been having fun with it . it's my daily driver and let me tell you it's fun going to work now. :drive: :jest:

dan23467 04-26-2006 08:06 PM

hah congradulations, i went from an 87hp 1994 toyota tercel 4 speed, to a 200hp 98 firebird 5 speed, to a 305hp 00 z28 6 speed

RobZ28 04-26-2006 09:22 PM

Yeah be careful. I found out the first day I had my car, A F-body is ALOT differnet from a 1996 88HP Escort.

sidewayz28 04-27-2006 12:05 AM

rainy days are sick as shit if u like to go sideways...thats for sure :)
my first car was a 290rwhp 83 camaro that was pretty decent but nothing is like the ls1. ive had my 01ss for about 5 months now and this car still can scare the shit outa me and get my heart pumping G O O D

SailorZ28 04-30-2006 09:39 AM
