Default Can someone help me out

Trying to figure out wtf is up with this car my buddy wants to buy. Its a 2001 NBM six speed with ebony int with 45,900 miles. He can get it, out the door for like 10 grand plus his 95 six speed with 160k on it. ( them giving him 7 for his camaro )

He was using some de-coder and it told him that the car was black... THe paint is PERFECT on the car, no signs of a paint job at all, someone care to read these codes for him?

He didnt really ask you for your advice, and unless you are the salesman making the deal you don't really have a leg to stand on. Regardless of what he's getting for his LT1, he doesn't really need idiots like you telling he's getting raped.

To a certiane extent he was right. They were actually probably were giving him 2k for his car and taking 5k off the 17 grand on the t/a, but they were saying seven for his car. Regardless 93formulabird...

But who knows, maybe they really were going to give him 7 for his car, Tell me you haven't seen dealerships trying to sell lt1 cars for big bucks b/c they are " rare " and " not made anymore " hell theres a 00 ws6 vert for 30k localy, with lik 40k miles on it, dealerships are not upto date with the priceranges on these cars. His car was/is beautifull though.

He has decided to not get the t/a though. He doesn't view it as smart to put himself in that position at such a young age ( 19 ) just for a car thats just a wee bit nicer than his car, and take the chance of ****** up his credit and all that ****. Plus, look at his car, its 160k miles old, and not 1 flaw..

The odds of him getting 7k for this car are pretty slim. Car dealerships have a way of working the numbers around to make you think you're getting more than you are, they are smart like that.

Regardless, some people need to learn to use some tact. It's not hard to speak your mind and be half assed civil about it.
