Boost will never be closed on a saturday night when you want to go to the races 
Nitrous seems to be for you, cheap and proven to be effective. I am the kind of person that would never use it though. I'd never want to take a shot off of a full bottle and would never want to waste it. I'd then find myself really wanting it and being empty.

If you are cheap, nitrous is the only viable power adder. Have you ever been in a nitrous car? The hit is incredible! I can break the tires loose at 70mph and I make 576rwhp with a little 100shot on top of my other mods. I know a guy in J-ville that has been spraying a 175-200shot on a nearly stock 1998 Z28 since 2001. Do you know how many cars he's embarrassed with his $700 investment? A lot!Don't get me wrong, blowers and turbos are awesome and a step up the food-chain, but I don't have the time/money/patience...
