Default brother just got home with new car 96 formy...

i thought it would feel faster since everyone was saying "the lt1 feels faster because of its torque curve isn't linear" it felt really slow to me from a 4krpm punch...

btw he's 16 it's his first car.. lucky bastard

HAH...LT1 doesn't "feel"faster and definitely isn't actually faster either

the reason people say that is because LT1s feel more raw and unrifined than LS1s. not becuase they ARE faster.. LS1s feel refined and un-muscley IMO. LT1 are the last of the SBC platform and it just feels more torquey and raw to me. maybe some more LT1 owners will chime in to agree?

i think the lt1 feels faster sicne the torque peaks earlier and when youre jsut riding around going slow it just feels like it wants to just flat out go right then and there. on the other side the ls1 can jsut cruise along until you want it

Is this with a Auto im guessing? reason y im asking is cuz i have a A4 Formy and i was wondering what my gearing was cuz i cant find the RPO on my door.. but at about 70/80 my rpms are between 2500-3000 so im guessing i have the 2.73s?
