Default HP Question.. Hope you can help

I just recently bought a 1996, WS6.. (By the way, I love it..)
I am curious how much HP it has roughly. Hopefully you guys/gals can help me on this..
The car has 56000 miles
Automatic
3.73 Gear
Underdrive pulleys
Shift Kit
BBK Headers / Exhaust ,no cats..
Computer module under dash to adjust fuel mixture, shift points, etc..
Super Chip
I beleive thats it if I can remember. I just dont know how much HP this thing has. Its quick but how far away am I from 400HP??? If so, what do I need to do?
Thanks guys!!!

if that. my auto LT1 with basically the same mods minus the headers, but with a mail order tune and 2800 stall put down only 272whp and 303wtq.

H/C will get you 400 to the wheels. Not gonna get there with bolt ons alone.

are you asking about to the wheels or flywheel?

a stock lt1 is FAR from 400whp, you would need heads and cam atleast to get there. but if you want flywheel hp..then you would only need 345 whp or so..which would still need full bolt ons and a mild cam and heads.

why do you ask...hp means nothing if you can't drive it.

I can drive it.. Thats not my issue. I just want to know what would be the best way to get around 400HP.. I ordered a Vortec Supercharger and a couple other things for it that should get me closer.. Looking to have it installed sometime next week.. I appreciate the replies..

^^^ hey slow down bud. you need to research your **** before you throw money at it. if you plan on pushin over 5psi on a stock motor then you need a rebuild with lower compression, and you need dyno tuning w/ that supercharger and mod that support it!

What else did you order for it? That was probably not the smartest choice you could have made, haha. You should really learn more about your car first.

haha yea i would definetly try to cancel that order. like everyone else said, there is alot more to be done before you go forced induction. if your looking for a nice pick up in the mean time while you work on some more bolt ons, and possibly a heads/cam combo, i would put like a 75-100 hp shot on nitrous on it. a 100 shot could get you CLOSE (360-370) to 400whp, and all you would need is a kit, new plugs, fuel pump, and window switch, which could all be bought for under $700, instead of a $4000 S/C kit which your definetly not ready for. gook luck
